Facing an investigation, possible tenure-revocation and dismissal, UMKC Professors Drs. Keith Haddock and Walter S. Carlos Poston II, last week agreed to resign, effective Sept. 30.
As part of the agreement, the two, who currently serve as vice-chair and chair respectively of the Department of Informatic Medicine and Personalized Health at the School of Medicine, will not be able to seek employment in the future with the university.

Two University of Nebraska-Lincoln athletes, senior Paul Donahoe and junior Kenny Jordan, were dismissed from the wrestling team Tuesday afternoon after posing nude for a gay pornography site based in Los Angeles.
UNL officials said the men violated a NCAA rule prohibiting athletes to use their photos for commercial use.

I knew what to expect walking into the Dundee Theatre to see "Pineapple Express" at 12:01 a.m. Aug. 6, when it premiered in Omaha.
